On March 28, 2018, at 11:35 AM, Rochester Police, Rochester Fire and Frisbie EMS responded to the intersection of Old Dover Road and Tebbetts Road for a reported vehicle accident with injury. Officers learned that Evelyn Cormier, age 90, of Rochester was driving a Honda Accord south on Old Dover Road toward Dover. A Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck, driven by Melisa Billings, age 41, of Lebanon, ME. Was traveling on Tebbetts Road and stopped at the stop sign to cross Old Dover Road. When Melissa entered the intersection she pulled in front of the Honda which resulted in a t-bone type accident. Both Melissa Billings and her passenger, Kyle Billings, age 20, of Lebanon, Maine were transported by Frisbie EMS to Frisbie Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Both vehicles suffered damage and were towed from the scene.
Melissa Billings was issued a citation for Vehicle Entering Stop or Yield Intersection, RSA 265:30.
