On September 5, 2018 at approximately 1:49 A.M. Rochester Police, Fire and EMS were dispatched to the area of 50 Wakefield St, Tri City Towing for a reported Motor Vehicle Collision. Officers responded and found that a Gray Honda Civic, occupied by two juveniles was travelling South on Wakefield Street. The vehicle failed to navigate the curve onto Union Street and jumped over the curb and garden area of an adopt-a-spot in the median. The vehicle then continued across the northbound lane of Wakefield St which joins the Union St one way where it jumped the curb again and collided with several vehicles parked on the tri City Towing parking lot and the sign for the business. There was significant damage to the Honda and it had to be towed from the scene. 4 vehicles in the parking lot sustained varying degrees of damage as well as the sign. Both occupants of the car suffered minor, non-life threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital by EMS. The accident remains under investigation.
