On January 18, 2019 at approximately 12:25 A.M. the Rochester Police Department along with the Rochester Fire Department and Frisbie Memorial Hospital EMS responded to South Main Street in the area of number 124 for a reported motor vehicle collision. Officers determined that Amanda Cloutier, 28 of Milton, New Hampshire had fallen asleep while driving, causing her vehicle, a 2006 Toyota Highlander to leave the roadway before striking the objects.
Cloutier was evaluated on scene by Frisbie Memorial Hospital EMS and she refused further evaluation. The Toyota sustained substantial front end damage and had to be towed from the scene. Electrical crews are expected to be on scene for several hours repairing the electrical supply box. There was a reported power interruption in the area following the collision.
