Rochester Police believe they have located the vehicle and other person involved in the reported road rage incident from the evening of Friday July 12th. After speaking with that other person involved and reviewing evidence, Police no longer believe an actual shooting took place during the incident. Investigators believe the injury sustained was not from the bullet of a grazing gun shot, instead resulted from person to vehicle contact that occurred as the Chevy Cobalt involved was leaving the scene. Police still believe the incident was a result of road rage and charges are expected in the near future.
