On Monday July 22, 2019, Rochester Police responded to Maple St, just after midnight, for a report of gunshots being heard in the area. Around that same time, it was reported an adult male who had sustained a gunshot wound was at the Frisbie Hospital Emergency Room. Police responded to both areas and learned the male at the ER had sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his shoulder area and that the two calls were related. Police continue to investigate at this time, however Police do not believe this was a random incident, those involved are known to each other and there is no danger to the public. Further details may be released at a later time as Police are still actively investigating.
