ROCHESTER — City Manager Blaine Cox reports that Rochester’s IT services will be down for a period of time on this afternoon and early evening.
From 3-7 p.m., all city IT services will be unavailable to residents as Rochester moves several pieces of equipment in its data center.
Services that will be unavailable include:
- Telephones (including police business lines)
- Internet access
- Customer Self Service
- Access to ANY network shares / files / programs
Though phone lines will be down during this work, 911 will still be active for all emergencies. Public safety dispatch can be reached for non-emergency calls at 603-332-2354 or 603-332-3222.
Additionally, the work will affect the city’s ability to provide many services to customers, including auto registration, tax payments and utility billing (water/sewer) payments.
The City of Rochester apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this may cause to residents and thanks the community for its understanding and patience as it works to improve services.
