The Rochester man arrested on three Electronic Bench Warrants Monday October 14th and again released on personal recognizance bail was arrested again on Thursday October 17th, this time on a Capias Warrant out of Superior Court in reference to a prior Possession of Controlled Drugs arrest from July 30, 2019. After Brooks was originally arrested for the Possession of Drugs arrest on July 30th he was bailed and issued an arraignment date of August 15, 2019. Brooks failed to appear for his arraignment and the court issued a warrant for his arrest. Brooks was arrested on that warrant for failing to appear on August 26th and again failed to appear for his next arraignment. As a result of that failure to appear, another warrant was issued for his arrest, which he was taken into custody on Thursday, this time with no bail.
Present with Brooks at the time of his arrest and also arrested was Mercedes Adjutant, age 24, of Rochester. Adjutant was taken into custody on an active warrant from another agency for Dealing/Possession of Prescription Drugs. Adjutant was released on personal recognizance bail and issued a court date for November 21, 2019 at 1300 at Ossipee District Court.
