On behalf of Chief Paul R. Toussaint, the Rochester Police Department releases the following:
On 12/16/2019, Rochester Police, Fire, and EMS responded to Highland Street for a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.
During the investigation, it was found that a separate motor vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Davis Boulevard and Highland Street. Daniel Rogers, 54, of Rochester was at a nearby business and ran toward the collision to check on the people involved. Daniel was in the roadway when Patricia Rozanski, 64, of Lebanon, Maine, was driving her 2004 Toyota Rav4 south on Highland Street. She was navigating through the traffic and recent collision, unaware Daniel was in the roadway. Daniel was struck by Patricia’s vehicle.
Daniel was transported to Portsmouth Hospital for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
