Rochester – On January 15, 2020 at about 3:26am, Rochester Police, Rochester Fire, and Frisbie EMS responded to North Main Street in the area of Maple Street for a reported motor vehicle rollover.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2012 Jeep Rubicon was traveling south on North Main Street when it veered across the northbound lane striking a parked 2001 Ford Escape which then caused the Jeep to rollover. The driver of the Jeep was Glenn L. Patch, 30 years old, of East Rochester. Mr. Patch was transported from the scene to Frisbie Memorial Hospital. A short time later Mr. Patch was pronounced dead. Other than striking a parked vehicle, no other vehicles or people were involved in the collision.
North Main Street was closed during the on-scene investigation for approximately 2 hours, but has since reopened. Both the Jeep and Ford were towed from the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
