On 5/3/20 at approximately 4:23 PM Rochester Police, Rochester Fire, and Frisbie EMS responded to the area of 280 Blackwater Road for a reported two car motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle. The investigation revealed that Thurlon Thompson (age 30 of Rochester, NH) was operating a yellow Suzuki motorcycle and traveling east on Blackwater Road. At that time James Mixer (age 37 of Rochester, NH) was operating a GMC Terrain and traveling west on Blackwater Road whenthe two vehicles collided. Thompson was transported by EMS to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for non life threatening injuries. Mixer was treated on scene by EMS, but not transported. While emergency crews were on scene Blackwater Road was closed for a short period of time. As a result of the on scene investigation Thompson was charged with the following; operating after suspension (misdemeanor RSA 263:64), highway markings (violation RSA 265:22), speeding (violation RSA 265:60), and for not having a motorcycle endorsement (violation RSA 263:30) Anyone with information about this collision is asked to contact the Rochester Police Department at 603-330-7128.
